Assalāmu Alaikum,

Having myself spent time with different groups, including Hizb Tahrīr, benefitting from what I see from them as Haqq and rejecting what I see as Bātil,

I shall tell me my experience with them;

They are very good at presenting Islām in the political point of view and upon learning and using current affairs, they have showed me the political lessons from the life of Mu’hammad صلى الله عليه وسلم , and taught me how to run political groups and how to make its structure, and taught me about matters of Islāmic economics, to which I was very new. Taught me to look at Islām from a different perspective from what I was taught in the “saudī version” Jāmi’as (though I praise its correct things),

From the mistakes I saw in them, their alliance in not upon pure tawhīd and rejecting tāghūt and they think that the Khilāfah is a solution in itself, not knowing that Islām’s beauty is only seen after all of its pieces are put together and it becomes defect and impractical were people to establish a part of it and ignore another,

So Khilāfah, yes, it brings many disputes to end and is a much a solution for many problems faced, and it is obligation as full implementation of many obligations are based upon its formation. But it is not the word ‘Khilāfah’ or the word ‘Amīr ul Muminīn’ or ‘Khalīfah’ (which brings happiness to many hearts by hearing the word), which brings solutions. But rather, the meaning upon which these words stands are what brings peace and stability to the places and people.

As each and everything of Islām is based upon two fundamentals, Lā Ilāha Illa Allāh, so the Khilāfah must be established completely upon the base of Tawhīd, or it will be nothing more than a corrupt system.

From my understanding, they saw the beauty of the system from outside, but they failed to see the inner structure from the Tawhīd and Piety and morals, which keeps it alive and prolongs its beauty. So they focused on how to construct the beauty of the outward appearance without really worrying about what really held its beauty from the back bone of Tawhīd, veins of piety and blood of morals, so they failed in producing the like of it, as no perfect body can be made with a defect backbone and corrupt veins and blood of cancer.

They thought the political structure of Islām as any other system, which if implemented, it will bring stability and peace, Yet they totally ignored (unknowingly) the spiritual side of it which defends it and makes it alive and give it, its correct shape. So they failed and if this is their way, they will never succeed but in making another kingdom. As the beauty of the structure is held only by following Islām fully and acting upon it fully, with the sound Aqīdah and pure tawhīd,

From their defects, they reject ā’hād narrations in the matters of Aqīdah, thus ended up denying even the punishment of the grave,

As it is seen, they do not give so much importance to acting upon the Sunnah of the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم ,

But there are their good points too as I said earlier, and this was made short and to the point.

As for me, I denied the life of a donkey (Taqlīd; giving the reins of my brain to a similar human like me) and tried to explore everything and see in to whatever I can from the groups and Sheikhs, though many warned me not to go near them, I went to them and others too and benefitted from them. As I see, if the truth is with me, then there is nothing to be worried and if I am wrong I maybe corrected, you will never know what is right and wrong until you hear with an open heart,

And I have other observations from other groups too, maybe I may relate in time.
